The Fujifilm FinePix S4000
is a compact digital camera which looks like a boxy DSLR model and its main target is people which don’t want too much control over their cameras, but do want a super zoom. The S4000 comes with a CCD sensor of 14MP, an LCD screen of 3 inches, the ability to record 720p quality videos and a huge 30X optical zoom, as well as a beautiful design and a decent price for what it has to offer.
Fujifilm has advanced quite a bit with its models since they began making digital cameras and one of the areas where they are quite good is the menu, which is designed well and most people find it easy to use.
The best feature of the Fujifilm FinePix S4000 , the one which this model focuses on is the huge optical zoom, of 30X, covering a focal range between 24 and 270mm. Whatever you might want to take photos of in the distance, you can do it with the Fujifilm FinePix S4000, from viewing the wildlife without interrupting its habits to looking at ships which navigate in the distance.
Since taking photos at large distances makes it difficult to keep an image sharp, the camera comes with two kinds of image stabilization. The ISO 6400 setting is highly sensitive and it produces fast shutter speeds and a sensor shift, with the end result being a steady picture. The zooming is done automatically by going through 45 different steps, which is different from the manual mode, where a zoom ring is used to get the exact amount of zoom that you need. Since this is a compact, an auto method is a better choice for a user of a compact digital camera.
When all is considered, the FinePix S4000 has a budget price for the features of a superzoom camera and the huge optical zoom allows you to take photos of subjects which usually can’t be reached with a regular model or even with many of the other superzoom models. The camera comes with Duracell AA batteries, which can be replaced with versions which are rechargeable, so this is not a disadvantage.
Since it’s designed well, the S4000 has a decent feel to it and the grip allows the user to handle it and shoot photos with it with just one hand.
The quality of the photos is good when you take them at regular distances, but it does feel like a painted effect when you take them at larger distances. As long as you’re OK with this, the details are good and the colors are nicely recorded.
As far as the features and style of the camera go, this model is very good for people who know how to use a DSLR and the people who would like to see what a DSLR can accomplish, without having to deal with the weight and price of such a model. As far as photos are concerned, there are better models available, but if you want that 30X optical zoom, you might be OK with them.

I’m impressed, I must say.
When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get four emails with the identical comment. Is there any approach you’ll be able to remove me from that service? Thanks!
I definitely enjoy every little bit of it and I have bookmarked your blog.
